I have been at MediVet Balderton for our bunnies for a year now! Staff are always extremely helpful, they are so caring towards the animals and knowledgable we have had nothing but 10/10 experiences when attending appointments

Update! Now co-owned by fab vet Dr Shannon Baxter this practice has had a major revamp. Everything has changed and improved, the opening hours are better, they have increased the amount of staff and morale all round seems to be higher. Good news. I can now thoroughly recommend this practice with Dr Baxter at the helm-she is great with animals and customers alike 👌🏻 During the summer I was concerned as the Balderton practice was often closed due to staff shortages and therefore impossible to get appointments. I even considered registering at another local vets as I was not happy about travelling with my easily stressed cats for 45 mins to get to another Medivet branch. I really hope this issue is in the past now as we have a health care plan with Medivet and would prefer to continue.

We always have a lovely warm welcome at this vets, the staff are so friendly and I seem to learn something new every time we visit as the Vet or nurse explains treatments etc so well. My little dog has just had minor surgery here and his post op care and advice were excellent.

Upon my first visit to Medivet I was set back a bit to how welcoming and professional they were. Clare on the reception desk was just fantastic, made us feel welcome, explained the new management structure and reassured us that everything would be just perfect. We weren't disappointed. We came back a few days later for an appointment for our 4 cats we were again greeted by Clare who showed us that we could use blankets to cover over the creates to help calm the cats. Upon meeting with the vet and partner Shannon we had a very thorough appointment. Clearly a professional in her element. Everything was explained, friendly and most of all dedicated to our cats welfare. Thank you to everyone at Medivet Balderton. What a fantastic experience. This was the first visit to the vets where they were relaxed and not stressed, I put this down to the professional attitude of everyone.

My cat had a booster and medication review for his inhaler. Vet was helpful and friendly and even gave my cat, Sherlock a bit of a groom, as he usually doesn't like this. He definitely needed one. Cat and me very happy.

Ernie paid a visit to Medivet in Balderton yesterday to check up on his ears, and he was put at ease from the outset by Shannon and loved her bedside manners. And the font line staff were superb as well, and loved his photograph being taken!

Would like to give more stars but as I had to wait 20 minutes for my cats appt I didn't feel more stars would be correct. You claim to be a cat caring place and yet my cats had to wait far too long, causing unnecessary stress on them and on me. I'm expected to be on time with booked appts, so I expect the same from you. No reason or explanation was given for the long delay.

Love the new vet for me she more passionate about the animals come across a very warm person I've got to be honest and it's not just me as said it but didn't like the last vet for me she didn't run the place properly and alot of customers left and went to another vets hopefully now it will get running back to how it should be now we have a lovely new vet AStar

The animals we see
Dogs and cats are most of what comes through the door, but they're not all.
